Sheath
The Sheath Dress is a formfitting style that displays the curves of the body.  This style can be worn short or full length.

Body Types:

Body types this style works well for:
1. Tall, Slim-Hipped
2. Slender, Petite

Body types that should avoid this style:
1. Wide hips, Narrow shoulders

Empire
The Empire Dress has a very high waist and cropped bodice.  The skirt of the dress can be straight, flared or as wide as an A-line dress.

Body Types:

Body types this style works well for:
1. Small-Breasted
2. Petite

Body types that should avoid this style:
1. Large Breasted

A-Line
The A-line Dress is differentiated by it's fitted bodice and ungathered, "A" Shaped skirt.  This dress does not always have a seam at the waist, and the waist may be above or below  the natural waist line.

Body Types:

Body types this style works well for:
1. Short Women (gives an illusion of length)

Body types that should avoid this style:

Princess
The Princes Dress is similar to the A-line, in that it has an ungathered, "A" shaped skirt.  The most obvious characteristic of this dress is the full length seams that run from the neckline to bottom of the dress.  The seam is often embellished to make it more visible. There is no horizontal seam at the waist, which is always at the natural waist line.

Body Types:

Ball
The Ball Dress is one of the most classic and popular wedding dresses.  The bodice is fitted with a natural or dropped waist and it has a full, rounded skirt with petticoats underneath.

Body Types:

Body types this style works well for:
1. Average to Tall
2. Hourglass or Full Figured

Body types that should avoid this style:
1. Petite (it can be a bit overwhelming)
2. Extra Large Bosomed Women

Slip
The Slip Dress is a simple, minimalist style dress, which is based on the slip undergarment.  This style usually has very little ornamentation.

Body Types:

Body types this style works well for:
1. Lean, In-shape
2. Tall or Petite

Body types that should avoid this style:
1. Full-figured
